Kitchen Renovation: Fireclay Farm Sink

For our kitchen renovation, we ended up choosing a Fossil Blu Fireclay Sink (36 inch). This gorgeous sink comes with a protective rack (I removed for the photo) which you can customize to your hardware. Because we chose polished nickel for our drawer hardware and faucet, we chose the same for the sink insert.

So far we are really happy with our purchase! Worth every penny. Not only does it look beautiful but it is serving us well with its durability and generous size. As I look at our “before” kitchen photos, the original sink looks sooo small, and it was!

Kitchen Sink – Before:

While working with our designer for our kitchen layout and details, they suggested a 36 inch sink. At first I thought, oh my that’s huge! I asked, “do we really need a sink so large?” The consultant smiled at me and said, “It will be perfect. trust me”. She was right! My best advice here is install the largest sink you are able, it is worth the extra expense.
